Jodie Wickens: Standing up for people in Coquitlam-Burke Mountain
Elected to the BC legislature in 2016 as the youngest woman MLA, and elected again in 2024, Jodie Wickens has a long history of public service. In government she served as the Minister of Children and Family Development. Prior to her election in 2024, she was an advocate for public education and social justice, holding an executive leadership position as Director of Programs and Services for Child and Youth Programs at a large non-profit.
In office, she’s fought for people every day, and been part of a team that has connected a million more people to a family doctor, brought down housing costs, and created new jobs.
